One Hour Keynote
                                     

Exiting Your Business Creating Maximum Value and Minimum Stress:  

This is a great way for business owners to get a solid overview of what a Strategic Exit Solution is all about. The material is presented in an informative one hour session (45-50 minutes with 10-15 minutes of Q&A). The talk will provide a business owner with the fundamental knowledge they must possess to begin putting an exit strategy in place. How to build and staff an exit team are two keys to this talk. The ideas of contingency planning and maximizing value are discussed. John walks the audience through a case study step by step. When the audience leaves they will have the concepts well in hand.

Half Day or Whole Day Workshop

Creating Strategic Exit Strategies for Your Business: 

A more detail oriented and hands on program than just the keynote. This is perfect for an Association wanting more detailed information for its members to have either of these as a break out session at a regional or national conference. Different methods for transfer of ownership and their distinct advantages and disadvantages are discussed in detail. A copy of a contingency plan is provided for attendees with clear instructions on how to reate one. Understanding how the buyers mind works and how to stay in control during the sale process are discussed. Identifying the three cycles that must be in alignment to maximize value to the business owner are detailed. The workshop has opportunities for the attendees to work together on case study projects and interact with John and other instructors. Attendees will go home with the concepts and basic understating of critical “next steps” to take when planning an Exit Strategy.

Three Day Workshop

An Executive Level, Strategic Exit Solutions Boot Camp:

Open to individual business owners and their key employees and/or advisors. This session is without peer anywhere in the country.  Attendees will work with industry experts to identify when and how to begin the Strategic Exit process.

See why an exit plan is so much more than a “retirement plan”
Learn why, how and when to involve all stakeholders to improve communications, reduce stress and eliminate surprises down the road
Create a contingency plan
Identify and discuss all internal and external options for sale and transfer of a business
Review in detail the buyers mind set and be given specific metrics to use to maximize business value
Attendees will leave with a solid understanding of how to create an exit plan and enough knowledge to create one in house if they so choose.
